Your are invited to an excursion in the unique Egyptian desert to explore the beautiful White Desert and the Oases of Bahariya, Dakhla and Kharga along with discovering the ancient Egyptian Temples of the Nile Valley on a 5 stars Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan.

  • Itinerary

    Day 1. Cairo

    Arrive at Cairo International Airport, meet and assist service by our representative, then drive to your hotel with AC modern vehicle.

    Day 2.Cairo

    Breakfast at the hotel, then start our early morning visit to the pyramids of Giza (Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus), the Sphinx and explore the Valley Temple of Chechen which was part of the funerary complex including along with the pyramid.

    Optional: An excursion to Sakkara archeological site where the famous Step Pyramid of King Djoser then moves to Memphis, the former capital city of ancient Egypt during the Old Kingdom.

    Day 3. Cairo/ Bahariya Oasis

    Breakfast at the hotel, check out, then leave to Bahariya Oasis (365 KM), arrival and check-in at the hotel then have lunch. After that, start the day trip by 4X4 vehicle visiting Bahariya's oasis springs with a possibility to use the hot mineral springs. Then climb The English Mountain and check out the panoramic depression of Bahariya and watch the sunset. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.

    Day 4.Bahariya Oasis/ White Desert

    Breakfast at the hotel, check out, then start the day tour the Hall of the Golden Mummies and continue our road to the tombs of Banentiuo and Zed F Anche, also the Temple of Alexander the Great, the Macedonian conqueror. Lunch among the dunes of Agabat, known as the ‘Beautiful Valley’, then continue driving to the Black Desert then the White Desert to enjoy its unique natural shapes of rock and views. Camping in well-prepared tents, dinner, and overnight.

    Day 5.  White Desert/ Farafra Oasis/Dakhla Oasis

    By dawn, free time to walk around the area and take photos. Continue to hit Farafra Oasis, the smallest oasis located in the western desert of Egypt, we shouldn't miss other interesting sites such as Badr's Museum, where displays the work of a local artist, Badr Abdel Moghny. He works with mud, stone, and sand to sculpture art that depicts traditional oasis life. Lunch and take the way to Dakhla Oasis with its fascinating natural views and its large quantity of hot springs. Arrival Dakhla then moves to visit Bashandy Village. Back to Dakhla for camping in well-prepared tents, dinner and overnight.

    Day 6. Dakhla Oasis/ Kharga Oasis

    Breakfast and move towards to Kharga Oasis, the largest oasis located in the western desert of Egypt, Its population is a mix between barbers and Nubians coming from Aswan after the Esna Dam was built.  In the past, Kharga was an important trade route between Sudan and Memphis

    (The first political capital of ancient Egypt). In Kharga you can visit The Temple of Hibis, Tombs of Bagawat and El Nadoura Temple (Was used as a watch towers for observing the trade caravans those came from Sudan to Aswan via Darb Al Arbeen road). Camping in well-prepared tents, dinner, and overnight.

    Day 7.Kharga Oasis/ Luxor Cruise

    Breakfast and drive, leaving the desert behind us, to Luxor for the Nile cruise. Arrival chick in and lunch, after that you will start  your day tour from the east bank of the Nile River ,visiting the Karnak Temple Complex, commonly known as Karnak ,the largest religious building ever constructed dedicated to the Theban Amon Ra, then transfer to the Temple of Luxor which was the northern house of Amon Ra. After that return to the boat, dinner, and overnight.

    Day 8. Luxor/Esna/Edfu

    Breakfast then across the Nile to the west bank to visit the famous Theban Necropolis to discover the Valley of the Kings where the tombs of the Pharaohs and powerful nobles of the New Kingdom (the Eighteenth to the Twentieth Dynasties of Ancient Egypt), then move on to explore the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, with its unique architecture style as the temple was built on three levels with two wide ramps in a central position joining the levels together.  A stop after that to see the towering Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues of the Pharaoh Amenhotep III, they are the only remains of the large temple of Amenhotep III.  Lunch on board of the cruise. Sail to Esna Lock and cross it, Dinner and Continue sailing to Edfu.

    Day 9. Edfu/Kom Ombo/Aswan

    Breakfast on board then start the day with a visit of Ramses II temple in Edfu dedicated to God Hours, you will be taken to the very nice and well-preserved temple by a horse car ridge. Then return to the boat for lunch and start sailing towards Kom Ombo where you will visit the temple of god Horus and Sobek,  return to the boat to continue sailing to Aswan.Dinner and overnight on board of the ship.

    Day 10.Aswan

    The morning will be free to explore the city, there is an optional trip to Abu Simbel (by bus). Then you will return to the boat for lunch and start a visit to Unfinished Obelisk (If finished it would have measured around 42 m the tallest in the history of Egypt) and the High Dam (One of the biggest projects in the world). Felucca Ride to see The Botanical Garden, Elephantine Island and  Agha Khan Mausoleum (FROM THE NILE NO ENTRY). Overnight on board in Aswan.

    Day 11. Aswan

    Breakfast on board, then transfer to the Aswan Airport for a domestic flight to Cairo Airport, awaiting for your return flight.

Prices are quoted in US Dollars per person per trip and valid till 2019/2020, except during Christmas, New Year & Easter holidays.

Children Policy:

2 - 05.99 pay 25% of tour price.

6 - 11.99 pay 50% of tour price.

Deposit and Payment:

15% of full payment will be required when confirming your booking and the rest of the payment will be paid, when arriving to Egypt, by credit or debit card.

Tour Voucher:

After your tour is confirmed we will email the final confirmation and a voucher to print and bring with you.

Cancellation Policy:

Travel Corner does not charge a cancellation fee for tours and excursions cancelled for ‘force majeure’ reasons such as volcanoes, earthquakes, or reasons beyond control. If cancellation happens due to personal or business reasons and Travel Corner has already paid costs on your behalf, you will charged for these costs.
